On June 28, 2026, we celebrate the 30th anniversary of the adoption of the Constitution of Ukraine – the Fundamental Law, which consolidated Ukraine as a sovereign, independent, and democratic state, and guaranteed the rights and freedoms of every its citizen.
Today, when Ukraine courageously defends its independence, the Constitution is not only a legal document, but also a symbol of our statehood, freedom, democracy and invincibility. It reminds us of the values for which the Ukrainian people fight and how they see their future – free, democratic and European.
For Ukrainian diplomats, Constitution Day is of particular importance. Every day, representing Ukraine abroad, we work to strengthen the international authority of our state, promote its democratic values, protect the rights and interests of Ukrainian citizens, develop international partnerships and defend the national interests of Ukraine.
The Constitution is the basis of this activity, because its principles – the rule of law, respect for human rights, freedom and democracy – determine the course of our state both within the country and on the international arena.
The Constitution is the foundation of our statehood, freedom and future Victory.
Happy Constitution Day of Ukraine!
