On March 13, the Minister of Education and Culture of Mozambique, Samaria dos Anjos Filemon Tovela, held a meeting with the Ambassador of Ukraine to Mozambique, Rostyslav Tronenko, and the renowned Ukrainian pianist, professor Dr Taras Filenko. 

During the meeting, cooperation projects between Ukraine and Mozambique in the fields of culture and education were discussed, including the development of links between cultural and academic institutions.

Professor Dr Taras Filenko’s visit to Mozambique aims to promote Ukrainian culture and identity, as well as to contribute to the ongoing development of dialogue between our countries and peoples. 

During his stay, Professor Dr Tarás Filenko will hold masterclasses, workshops, meetings and concerts at Mozambique’s leading musical institutions.

The Ambassador of Ukraine and Professor Dr Tarás Filenko thanked the Minister of Education and Culture of Mozambique for the fruitful meeting and for her interest in deepening cultural and academic cooperation between our countries.
