Today, on Youth Day, we honour a generation that has grown up amid war.

Ukrainian youth volunteer, learn first aid, make art, fight disinformation, support the army – and believe in a future that is free. From rebuilding shattered homes to greeting returning prisoners of war, young people across Ukraine are showing what courage looks like in everyday life.

Because being young in Ukraine today means not waiting for the future – it means building it. This is what Ukraine’s youth are doing now.
