President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy sent an official congratulatory message to President of the Republic of Mozambique Daniel Chapo on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of National Independence, which is celebrated on June 25.

In his message, the President of Ukraine emphasises the importance of historically friendly relations between the two nations and confirms Ukraine's readiness to deepen mutually beneficial cooperation with Mozambique.

Volodymyr Zelenskyy expressed his hope that Mozambique will join initiatives aimed at achieving just, comprehensive and lasting peace in Ukraine, as well as restoring international security and stability based on unwavering respect for international law and the purposes and principles of the Charter of the United Nations.
