Mrs. Fabiana Tronenko, the wife of the Ambassador of Ukraine to the Republic of Mozambique, took part in the Round Table Discussion "Where the Ukrainian heart beats: The Role of Ukrainians Abroad in Public Diplomacy," organised by the Hanns Seidel Foundation, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, the Diplomatic Academy, and the Association of Spouses of Ukrainian Diplomats, with the support of the Federal Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Germany.

In her intervention, Mrs. Fabiana Tronenko spoke about the assistance that she provided to the Government of the State of Paraná, Brazil, in 2022-2023 helping Ukrainian refugees, as well as about the launch of Araucaria Foundation’s project to support Ukrainian female scientists and their families.

The wife of the Ambassador of Ukraine emphasised the importance of keeping Ukrainian national identity abroad, of community unity and active participation in telling the truth about Ukraine. She also highlighted the role of the diaspora in public diplomacy and the importance of international solidarity with Ukraine.

Participants of the event shared their experience of working in different countries around the world. Particular attention was paid to cultural and economic diplomacy.
