At least 2 people killed and 23 injured – this is Russia’s response to peace efforts and its attempts to end the war.
On May 24, Russia launched one of the largest attacks on Kyiv, using around 600 drones, dozens of ballistic, air-launched ballistic, and cruise missiles, as well as a dummy IRBM.
The Cherkasy, Kharkiv, Kropyvnytskyi, Odesa, Poltava, Sumy, and Zhytomyr regions also came under attack.
Now is the time to strengthen Ukraine, not to step back or play along with the aggressor.
“We call for additional defense capabilities, including to protect our sky; investment in our defense industry; increased pressure on Russia, including entry ban for Russian combatants, full use of frozen assets; strong political decisions with regard to Ukraine’s EU accession and other steps,” Ukraine’s Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha emphasized.
