Rostyslav Tronenko, Ambassador of Ukraine to Mozambique, Abílio Soeiro, Ukraine’s Honorary Consul in Mozambique, and Ukrainian diplomats held a wreath-laying ceremony at Heroes’ Square in Maputo.

The ceremony was dedicated to marking two important dates: Africa Day on 25 May and Day of Heroes of Ukraine on 23 May in order to express deep respect for the heroes of Mozambique and Ukraine who fought for the freedom and independence of their peoples. 

We extend our sincere congratulations on the occasion of Africa Day, wishing peace, prosperity and further development to Mozambique and the Mozambican people.
