On this #AfricaDay, we extend our sincere greetings to the peoples of the continent!
Ukraine and African countries are connected by decades of cooperation and mutual respect. Ukrainian specialists contributed to infrastructure projects across the continent, thousands of African students studied in Ukraine, and Ukrainian peacekeepers took part in supporting peace in different regions of Africa. This remains an important part of our shared history.
Ukraine continues to strengthen its relations with Africa based on equal dialogue and mutual benefit.
We wish the peoples of the continent peace and prosperity!
Happy Africa Day to all nations and peoples across the continent! We wish African countries peace, liberty, and security on your dynamic and ever more consequential continent. Ukraine is ready to contribute to the progress, safety, and sovereignty of nations, as Ukrainians have come far along this path while defending against Russian neocolonialism. We firmly believe that supporting the stability and self-sufficiency of African countries is of great importance, and we stand ready to cooperate in education – thousands of African students received their education in Ukraine – as well as technology, food security, and the development of manufacturing on equal footing. We are grateful to every African nation supporting our independence and our people, and helping us bring peace closer. Thank you to African countries who support us within international organizations, particularly in the UN General Assembly. On Africa Day, we are sharing special greetings from graduates of Ukrainian universities across the African continent.
Over the years, thousands of students from Africa studied in Ukraine, made lifelong friends, and kept warm memories of the time they spent here. Today, they are sending their wishes on the occasion of Africa Day and sharing their experiences and memories of Ukraine.
These stories are part of the broader long-standing ties between Ukraine and African countries, which continue to grow through cooperation and people-to-people connections. Ukraine continues to strengthen its relations with countries across the continent based on equal dialogue, mutual benefit, and respect.
