We recommend you to read the Report of Rafal Lemkin Centre for Documentation of Russian Crimes in Ukraine on the shooting of a civilian evacuation convoy by Russian troops in the village of Lypivka, Kyiv region, on 12 March 2022, which resulted in the deaths of 6 people (including a child) and injuries to 7 people (including two children). On that day, 14 cars carrying fifty civilians, mostly families from Makariv, were leaving their homes with the permission of the Russian occupation forces. Not far from the Ukrainian checkpoint, the Russian military opened fire on the convoy. According to eyewitnesses, they were assassinated or burned alive.
