Today we mark the Day of Resistance to the Occupation of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol, raising the flag of the Crimean Tatar people alongside the National Flag of Ukraine.
The blue flag with the golden tamga is the symbol of the identity, dignity and resistance of the Crimean Tatar people, who continue to face persecution and human rights violations under illegal Russian occupation.
With this gesture, the Embassy reaffirms its solidarity with all Ukrainian citizens who resist the occupation of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol, as well as Ukraine's firm commitment to the restoration of its territorial integrity within internationally recognized borders.
CRIMEA IS UKRAINE.
